Featured Call of the Month

Tom May 1903-1979
Dyersburg, Tennessee

Tom May made this exquisitely carved call for his daughter sometime around 1942. May was a legendary trap and skeet shooter and also taught marksmanship in the Army during WWII. The other carved panels of this masterpiece are equally stunning!

The CCAA Reelfoot Lake event is fast approaching! Beginning October 12th at the Eagles Nest Resort on the banks of beautiful Reelfoot Lake in Samburg, Tennessee, this is always a great show with its laid back atmosphere and unique blend of attendees. The event this year features carving demonstrations by talented makers Brad Samples and Jeremiah Cluesman along with a checkering lesson by the equally talented Waylon Thomson. The CCAA Working Duck Call Contest has continued to attract an ever-growing number of entries. Please contact member Alan Whitson if you have questions about the call makers contest.
We are again giving away a call to one new member and one referring member during the final months of 2018. Jeremiah Cluesman and Waylon Thomson have graciously agreed to donate calls for the giveaway. The winners will be chosen at random during early-December so now is a great time to join as a new member or for you existing members to spread the word about the CCAA!
